America's Good Old Days, by Charlie Bass

by: Dean Barker

Mon Oct 04, 2010 at 06:23:49 AM EDT

America, in the good old days:
"America was doing pretty well in January of 2008."
America, the bad new days:
"I feel America's being ruined."
Here's what state house candidate John R. White has to say about the Good Old Days of the Bush years:
Of course, the person running for Congress who hasn't spent twelve years in DC during the Good Old Days, and who isn't creating Two Americas is coming to a diner near you and wanting to hear from voices from all parties and perspectives.

Too Close-Up (0.00 / 0)
Charlie obviously(if you watched Close-Up) misspoke. He knew it. He later corrects himself by saying 'in the last 20 months' to show he can count numbers below a million.

He was trying to imply that things were not so bad in Jan. on 2009 when Obama took over...which is patently false, because we had seen the Stock Market crash to about 6600 from 9/15/2008 when Lehman melted down.

I just saw a new anti-Kuster ad by some outfit called Revere America...George Pataki's 501c4.

It says directly that Annie ia trying to take away American Healthcare, and may take away your rights. Its a good thing I am not the quick to anger type...but this will motivate me to work harder to push back against the intended lies, not just the misspeaking of a weak brained old white guy.

6 days till election day
Have you knocked on doors today? Have you made calls ? Have you talked to your neighbors ?

I'll tell you (4.00 / 2)
The saving grace with Charlie is that he's horrible with this stuff. Completely disconnected.

I'm listening to Stephen on the radio, and he's the smoothest liar I've heard in a long while (minimum wage flub notwithstanding). He's probably national level smooth, Huckabee smooth. (maybe Chuck Norris will endorse him!)

But Bass -- man, he always seems like he arrived to the meeting late without his notes.

He was never good - and he's gotten worse with age n/t (0.00 / 0)
