I don't care what Jesus would do. It is not a germane question, because respectfully he is not my leader, nor should religion enter into the equation. That is exactly the problem...we are all different, and we don't have to hold similar beliefs or faiths...that is the essence of the argument in favor of Constitutional rights for all.They come from a Creator...which none of us know anything about. False constructs obscure rather than delineate. I understand that you are seeking a set of p[principles which you think we all share, but that is off base. What would Zoroaster, Moses, Mohammed, Ganesh, or any other deity do ? Who cares ?
This is about life here and now, post Age of Enlightenment, and that our Constitution purports to protect everyone in the same way, so that there are no 'classes' of people. One world, one love.
